No, it's not required. Our assault troops have dedicated training center in Zhytomyr, where you'll receive training from top instructors with extensive combat experience from the war in Donbas (2014-2021) and the recent full-scale russian invasion. Our paratroopers have also participated in international exercises alongside NATO instructors. For those with prior combat experience (within the last 5 years), you will be sent directly to the brigade, where continuous training and skill development are part of the routine.

Your health status will be evaluated by the military medical commission at the TCC (local recruitment center). It’s important to note that, based on the results of the VLK (Military Medical Commission), you should receive a note stating that you are "fit for service in the Armed Forces." This means you are free from chronic illnesses, addictions, or injuries that would interfere with physical exercises. In the military units, physical endurance training is progressively improved over time.

Our brigade regularly sends soldiers to attend sergeant courses and military academies to earn a primary officer rank, provided you have post-secondary education at least at the "bachelor" level.
